Ben Ottewell, ex-Gomez Vocalist, Guitarist Releases New Album; Shares New Video

Ben Ottewell, vocalist and guitarist as well as songwriter for English indie rock band Gomez, has released a new album, entitled A Man Apart, on Sunday Best.  The album is his third solo album.  Ottewell recently shared the title track from that album.

A Man Apart follows 2011’s Shapes & Shadows and 2014’s Rattlebag.  Each album began to take shape in Los Angeles before being completed in his native England.  A Man Apart comes twenty years after Gomez’s Mercury Music Prize-winning debut Bring It On as well as the occasion of Ottewell’s 40th birthday.  To mark all of these celebratory occasions, Ottewell is taking the new material on the road in the U.S.A. beginning in September and running for one month.
